Updates:

• Update 1/5/05: Quite a few updates this time around! Added some more pets and equipment... and two new calculations! You can now calculate how much damage the Dragon Blade will do based on your character's level, and there's a new battle calculation for the exp calculator! This one is based on bands of averages for certain level ranges, as opposed to a mathematical function - as a result, it may me more accurate than the first method in some cases, and less accurate in others.
• Update 11/6/04: A minor update to add some of the new "crucial" spells to the list: Darkness Dragon Ambush and Scrambler Beam. Also added a few tiers of equipment for lower-level players.
• Update 9/26/04: Some additional pet info was added. Also remember that in addition to bonuses, stats will be used in stat rolls! As Artix mentioned, some quests will have skill rolls from 1-100 against a difficulty threshold, with your stat bonus added on!
• Update 9/15/04: The bug where the total training cost was calculated incorrectly is fixed.
• Update 9/13/04: The calculator now does the correct math for calculating the bonuses, based on the Captain's new bonus calculations in AQ Upgrade #27. Also note that according to the new calculations, damage bonuses add to random damage rather than base damage.
• Update 8/3/04: The calculator now calculates pet purchasing levels (although this is kind of superfluous), as well as levels required to achieve a number of tiers of desired equipment.

Notes:

• Maximum values for stats are 26 for B2H bonuses, 18 for random damage bonuses, and 22% for blocking bonus (thanks to Drakonnan for max value calculations)
• B2H is percent bonus to hit, and damage bonus is points of additional damage done per hit
• Some formulas (specifically monster level formulas) do not specify rounding, or there is no perfect way to calculate the rounding necessary. Because of this, occasional off-by-one errors may occur. These values are based on the formulas but have not been extensively tested and are not guaranteed - use at your own risk. UPDATE 8/2/04 - I've changed some of the rounding per kickkat's advice - let me know if things seem more or less accurate now (so far in my tests, they seem more accurate...)
